2018 Away Schedule

Both of our loyal readers likely know that City Boy is all kinds of crazy about college football generally and Notre Dame football specifically.  This year, he was lucky enough to attend a few away games and even got to a home game this year.  Luckier still, Country Girl joined him for a game.  Very excited to see what next year has in store!

Graduation Day!

Country Girl and I couldn't be more proud of KW.  His stellar performance in Zoom Room's Obedience 1 class was beyond remarkable.  You can just call him a college basketball phenom cos he's one and done.  Great job, Kodiak!

Birthdays!

Both our loyal readers know that summer time is birthday time at the Ranch with both KW and KS celebrate their respective big days.  As always, hats, banners and special treats were in order for both celebrations.  KW still isn't keen on his hat. 

Squak Moutain

We've fallen well short of our hiking goals so far this year, sadly, mostly due to City Boy.  Country Girl made sure we took advantage of a lovely day a few weeks back and we headed out for a loop around Squak Mountain.  While good fitness, the views underwhelmed.  We did hav a lovely breakfast afterwards while the dogs napped.

The D - Redux

I was lucky enough to have Country Girl accompany me back home for a few Tigers games.  While we didn't do a lot of winning on the field, it was all smiles otherwise.  We tried a few new places, including Kuzzo's.  It's an excellent chicken and waffle place on the northwest side not too far from where City Boy grew up.  We also visited with family and checked out an old school.  Very much looking forward to our next trip back.  

Gorditos - Greenwood

At Gorditos, they have burritos as large as a newborn child.  Real talk.  They have photo evidence and everything.  It's quite impressive!  Foods quite good to boot.
