Puerto Vallarta - Redux (Redux)

We were fortunate enough to visit PV once more and once more, it was all kinds of fabulous.  Tremendous weather and amazing tacos that seemingly get better with each visit.  If you visit PV, highly recommend the taco tours by Vallarta Eats.  We've done three different taco tours of theirs and each one was absolutely fantastic.  You also get 10% off for mentioning that you were referred when booking!  Until next time, PV!

New Orleans, Baton Rouge

In late November, we closed out the 2018 Away Schedule by taking in LSU hosting Rice.  As it was  the first Louisiana trip for us both, we also spent a couple days in New Orleans.  The architecture and ambiance were beyond amazing.  The food, while all quite good, was not universally excellent as we both expected.  While a bit cool, we generally had nice weather with lots of sunshine.  Baton Rouge was similarly charming.  Lovely, if a bit brief, waterfront walking area by the river.  We also had by far our best meal at restaurant inside the Watermark there.  Both made a wonderful first impression and highly recommended!
