In late November, we closed out the 2018 Away Schedule by taking in LSU hosting Rice. As it was the first Louisiana trip for us both, we also spent a couple days in New Orleans. The architecture and ambiance were beyond amazing. The food, while all quite good, was not universally excellent as we both expected. While a bit cool, we generally had nice weather with lots of sunshine. Baton Rouge was similarly charming. Lovely, if a bit brief, waterfront walking area by the river. We also had by far our best meal at restaurant inside the Watermark there. Both made a wonderful first impression and highly recommended!Saturday, January 26, 2019
